There are 2 different types of scholar programs.
Day School
The students attend the classes during the day and return to their homes in the evening. They all live in Lo-Manthang.

Boarding School
Students in the boarding school come from distant villages and cannot return home at the end of the day. In addition to school lessons, GCBS provides full accommodation and food for these students

Most inhabitants move to the warmer south to escape the harsh and cold winters. During this time children travel to Pokhara with their parents. Once the student reach class 4 they move from Lo-Manthang to our school to Pokhara to continue their studies and boarding. Once the student passed class 6 they will be admitted to SOS Tibetan School in Pokhara. Beside formal education the students are also trained in vocational training center, such as carpentry, welding and secretarial courses etc.the student till 3rd standard will also travel pokhara only for their winter classes which will last for three months.
Transferring our students to SOS will definitely help them to face the competitive circumstances and advanced their thoughts for outside world.
